I written a moddule on the project covering all the steps of one particular process improvement. I was assesed on the assignment following great feedback.       I have joined ASRS (Automated Retrieval and Storage System) department at JLR during project phase. I have been a part of team supporting JLR project team with planning and implementing ASRS operational areas, testing automated system and producing training documentation. I have worked closely with the customer and SSI Schaefer teams, raising, fixing and re-testing system defects. Upon implementation of this new automated system I have spent time inducting and training warehouse associates on H&S, policies, processes and procedures.I am currently responsible for planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet operational requirements. Delivering team members’ performance reviews, training, developing, coaching as appropriate. Managing all disciplinary and grievance issues in line with HR policy and procedures. Ensuring process adherence through effective standardised work audits. Managing, driving and delivering operational KPI's - Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Environment. Show less I Worked for DHL on a Sainsbury’s contract to deliver their £85 million project of a new national distribution centre at DIRFT. Over the last 18 months I have learnt and developed new skills and management techniques. I performed a number of different roles on the project which are outlined below:- I was responsible for leading two cycles of user acceptance testing of all onsite systems which included leading a testing team of 12 people over the two cycles.- I helped to write a number of training modules that included a functional design specification for the depots master data management system and training material that covered daily depot operational processes.- I was part of a team that trained new recruits in key areas of the operation which included Goods In Admin and Receiving, Stock Control, Picking and Despatch.- I was part of the implementation team that saw the depot go live and supported during the first few months across the above key areas. The systems and programs that I have used and become very familiar with are:- JDA 2013 - Warehouse Management System- EBX5 – Master Data Management System- DMS – JDA Duty Management System- ALM 11 – Quality Centre for test script execution- Microsoft Office, Word, Visio and Excel Show less As a part of DHL Head Start Programme I was working as a manager at a Pick department. Together with my fellow colleague manager we were looking after group of 80-120 individuals.
