  Created and continues to lead Outreach program for upper high-school age boys. The program begins with the boys joining as staff and camper at theZone boys division summer camp- half day/half day. That month of the summer also includes biweekly leadership and business workshops. The program then continues throughout the year, with year-round events. While it is now an international organization, Oorah began with humble roots in Staten Island, and continues to run local programs attended by about 150 families. Between my wife and myself, we led or participated in all of the Staten Island programs. From shiurim to paint-nights, from a preschool to challah bakes. We developed friendships with the attendees, recruited new people, followed up with them, and most importantly, made the connection for them from one Oorah program to another. Program designed to build relationships with college-age boys who have received little formal Jewish education. Begins in the summer and continues with Shabbatons throughout the year.
