Focused on mobile products, accessories and wearables, develop New Unique Difficult (NUD) process w/ our supplier, deeply involve new product proto build and mechanical reliability tests, and also work on mechanical innovation. I am not only a team manager, but also an individual contributor, always owns several most critical projects by myself every year, and deeply drive critical ME processes/issues in detail for US design products. Key responsibilities:• ME Advanced Process Development (APD): Develop NUD materials and processes focus on enabling new experiences and customization, creating premium finishes, maximizing form & minimizing size, and optimizing cost. For example, big bending angle cover glass, pCVD coating waterproof, PMMA/PC forming rear cover, glass insert molding, multiple bonding technologies, etc. • Proto build ME support: In region staffing and technical expertise to support product schedules across Product Development (PD) deliverables. Direct work on 2 – 3 high tier products every year on average. o All critical proto build support in factory/suppliers o Outstanding ME issue root cause analysis and yield improvement o Critical process setup/optimization/verification o Reliability test preliminary failure analysis• ME innovation: Follow company strategies, create visions & establish roadmaps in design, cost, and limitations, focus conceptual design, prototyping, debugging, verification, and final product implementation.
