      Led the start-up of the Lean Six Sigma program to improve the truck, intermodal, and on-time deliveries, increased customer satisfaction, and reduced shipping damage and the order-to-cash cycle while optimizing procure-to-pay to manage DSO and DPO. Used value stream mapping and cost analyses to optimize Lanes and multi-stop, increased backhauling to reduce deadheading and maximized intermodal for long distances to reduce transportstion cost.

      As a member of CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™, a coalition of over 2000 signatories, the CEO asked me to step out of a critical leadership role to work with a group of 200 fellows from over 100 companies to improve the social well-being of those living in marginalized communities by developing scalable and sustainable public policies and corporate engagements to address systemic racism, resulting in nearly 400 concepts that led to the selection of 8 policies and 3 social contracts based on signatories, NGOs, and community leaders.1. One of the early wins suported broadband acces for rural and marginalized urban communities. 2. Another great launch was Fair Chance Hiring by tapping into a community of 70M people with criminal records. Several companies embraced the concept because it improved the livelihood of those justice-impacted and address labor shorages. Show less
