      A semester of marine based classes, including ichthyology, invertebrate zoology, marine biology, and cetaceans. Classes were limited to 6 or less students and were conducted similar to graduate level courses. Professors focused on a hands-on approach. In five short months I excavated, cleaned, and rearticulated a juvenile gray whale skeleton, hand seined for salmon for research, rearticulated salmon & rockfish skeletons, and assisted with humpback whale tail identification & cataloging.
