Show less • Coordination and communication of information between the various parties engaged in the project, namely the Client, Engineer, Main Contractor and Sub-contractors (MEP, such communication being both in verbal and written format consisting of formal letters, minutes, memos, technical submissions, telecoms, etc.• Review project documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ) and Design NOC’s Obtained from local authorities by the Engineer and assisting the MEP Subcontractor in applying for the Construction NOCs.• Attending and taking an active role in both Technical & Progress meetings with the Client, Engineer and the various Sub-contractors/Suppliers engaged in the project.• Direct contact/coordination with the Engineer with regards to clarification of technical issues required for the successful installation of various disciplines at site.• Reviewing drawings/instructions issued by the Engineer and in the event of ambiguities/ conflicting or unclear information, prepare and submit Request for Information (RFI’s) for clarification of the various issues.• Review and submit Shop Drawings from various Sub-contractors for the Engineer’s review/approval. Supervise the document controller in preparing and updating the various Logs for tracking all submissions.• To review all materials received on the site, inspecting them, ensuring they are as per approval.• Control and Monitor all MEP activities onsite and ensure that these activities are in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications and are in line with the authority requirements.• Attending site inspections for the MEP related activities and ensure all problems are resolved and well-coordinated.• Assisting the Planning Engineer in preparation of the weekly/ Monthly reports.• Responsible for the analysis of works performed (weekly report, monthly report - final report) and the assessment of consequences where needed.
