  As a mechanical Engineer, my primary responsibilities revolve around the design, development and maintenance of various machines used in the ISA process. My specific focus is on machine such as cathode stripping machines B121430 CSM-Mesco, anode scrap washing machines B121430 ASWM-Mesco, anode preparation machines B121430 APM-Mesco and other related equipment. My expertise is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of these machines, as well as their synchronization with the overall production system. This involves a solid understanding of hydraulics system and pneumatics, as they play a vital role in the functioning of these machines. Ensure synchronization of machines with the production system to maximize efficiency, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to ISA machines, analyze machine performance data and propose improvements to enhance productivity, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and process components, assess and implement safety measures for machine operations, Stay updated with the latest advancements and industry trends in mechanical engineering. This encompassed the maintenance of various pumps of different applications with varied sealing systems ranging from mechanical seals as well as gland seals. These included Samco pumps, vertical spindle pumps, Bosch Rexroth pumps, various hydraulic cylinders, directional control valves, check valves, flow control valves, chain conveyors, heat exchangers, extraction fans, GA 160 compressors, GA 11 compressors, filter press, Rotary vacuum driers, Steam boilers, Signode strapping machines just to name but a few. In 2015 I had an opportunity to appreciate the operation and maintenance of ISA machine process when the company sent me to the Philippines. This culminated in foreseeing the installation and commissioning of the ISA machines in Zambia at Mopani.
