Show less Achievements: • Significantly contributed in finalizing a concept note and proposal on GBV prevention and response project with an estimated budget of $ 3.6 million for the Netherlands and successfully awarded this project. • Managing one of the largest multi-sectoral 5 years long project ‘ASTHA’- working with the Government to strengthen access to public services for GBV survivors and engage communities for prevention in partnership with relevant ministries, departments and NGOs. ASTHA has already acknowledged as one of the signature projects by both UNFPA management and the Netherlands.• Leaded UPR 3rd cycle reporting and ensured incorporation of GBV and SRHR issues in UNCT, CSO and National reports. As result 10 recommendations on GBV made for Bangladesh.• Developed an implementation plan for the Ministry of women and children affairs in relations to UPR and CEDAW recommendations• Developed a guidelines for local VAW prevention committees (NNPC) in 4 districts• Represent UNFPA in UNCT-Human Rights group, alternative gender focal person• Advocacy product developed for the inclusion of GBV, gender equality and human rights provisions in relevant national laws/act/policy/legal framework/action plan/strategy/protocol and programmes.• Developed annual progress report for donors including quality result reporting produced on time.• Introduced Women Help Desk in District Courts for the very first time in four UNFPA supported districts in 2018• Led UNFPA’s contribution to the revision of NAPVAW (2018-2030) and thereby leading development of M&E framework and costing Show less
