  Production Assistant

  Having been recommended by East Leeds FM (a station run by Heads Together Productions) I took part in a week-long project, creating a feature for Roundhouse Radio on the BBC Radio 1Xtra workshop ‘Words First’. My duties included conducting and recording interviews with participants and artists, editing these audio files and working within a team to produce a concise and high quality piece of work to a strict deadline.

  Post-Production Sound Trainee

  Working in a London-based post-production sound company I helped to complete the sound design for a Signature Pictures Production. My work there included creating and distributing ADR sheets, locating and employing sound effects within the production and shadowing and assisting the Head Sound Designer.

  A week-long intensive training course, covering many of the technical aspects of radio production, management and technology, with theory and practical sessions.
