  Braunstone swimming club is a competitive swimming club which also offers a learn-to-swim scheme, I began working for Braunstone swimming club as a volunteer, until being employed by them in 2014. i was responsible for teaching a class of up to 6 children from stages 1-7.

  Moon and Stars Aquatics Programme

  This was a swimming teaching programme which offered swimming lessons from stages 1-7, adult and baby lessons, older beginners, one-to-one's, and adult lessons, i was responsible for teaching 4 times a week, as well as providing cover when other teachers were away. sadly this programme was forced to close down due to it being based at a school's pool, and the school was closing down, therefore the programme couldn't remain open.

  Casual Swimming Teacher

  I provide cover for those who are swimming teachers for the Leicester city council, this means that I an responsible for teaching an array of children with an array of needs. This includes" duckling lessons, stages 1-7, older beginners, mums and tots, and one-to-one special needs lessons. This means i have to be diverse in my teaching styles and communicate with other teachers well.

  I began working for Trilogy Leisure during my first year at University, I am currently responsible for teaching stages 1-10, adult lessons and teaching those with learning difficulties. Class size is limited to 10 within the lower stages.
