Responsibilities included designing lesson plans, individual and group instruction, equipment maintenance and organization, first aid, and logistics of regatta participation among students.- After having become a US Sailing Certified Adaptive Instructor, I was able to offer meaningful private lessons for a special needs student who would not have otherwise been able to participate. - This job involved teaching basic and intermediate sailing skills to adult sailing students.Responsibilities involved planning lessons and exercises for sessions.- Lessons were very individual, with each instructor placed in a boat with 2-4 students at atime.
