  Offshore Associated Gases (OAG) EPC Package -3 Client was GASCO the National Gas Company for UAE, and the project certification was done by BUREAU VERITAS.Responsibilities included monitoring all civil activities in the gas receiving unit, which consisted of four main pipe racks, one substation, one electrical/mechanical shelter and 12 main steel structures sheds including all relevant electrical, mechanical and gas underground utilities.Responsibilities also included working with the engineering office to develop as built drawings and facilitate the final hand over for the client. Client was a major developer in Dubai –Nakheel-. Responsibilities varied from monitoring the structural work, coordination with the engineering department, preparation of change orders and coordinating with subcontractors.

  With UNOPS in Jerusalem office first as project engineer and then acting as a project manager, I successfully was an active member of a team that delivered and managed several significant projects. in addition, I went on a nine-month mission to Jordan. then I worked at the UNOPS Centre of Excellence as a civil engineer. my duties and achievements during this period are outlined below:MAR 2018 – AUG 2018I was the project manager for the Small Arms Safety Training Facility (SASTF) renovation and expansion project in Jericho, West Bank. Acting as the project manager, I was responsible for the day-to- day management of the project, including overseeing quality assurance, HSE management, communication with stakeholders, managing contractual issues, and developing and monitoring the project procurement plan.OCT 2016 – AUG 2018As a Civil Engineer at the UNOPS Centre of Excellence, I reviewed and certified proposals and tender documents, including drawings and bills of quantities (BoQ), for infrastructure projects in the Middle East and Asia region. This included providing design verification, verifying cost estimates, assisting regional offices with project setup, project management, and HSE plans. Also, I was tasked with two missions to support UNOPS office in Sir Lanka. This in addition to managing the SASTF project toward the end of my contract.APR 2014 – OCT 2016I was the deputy project manager for Tulkarem Courthouse Facility (TCHF), West Bank. I supervised all aspects of construction and quality assurance for this 9,000m², three- story building, with a total project value of USD 18.5 million. This high-profile project earned ISO 18001 certification; it should be mentioned that I played a key role in achieving this certification as I was responsible for most of the project documentation. Show less Support to the Jordanian Security Forces in Syrian Refugee CampsThis project value was a $5.5 million worth; the project consisted of constructing accommodations, offices and other necessary facilities for the different security and civil defense forces working in the two major Syrian refugee camps in Jordan.The Project included the design and installation of off-grid Solar photovoltaic systems to power many of the facilities which are not connected to the power grid.I have managed the project from initiation stage up to handing over to beneficiaries including communication and reporting process to different stakeholders.Also I have recruited and managed the project team and administer all the project bids and tendering process, as well as directing the construction phase. Show less Small Arms Safety Training Facility (SASTF)The project consisted of arms training facility, with arms storage area and a 200*50m shooting range. Also a safe area -man let- and the marking gallery all surrounded with bullet stop berms and gabions which was built to the NATO military standards. The project total cost was $3 million.I was responsible for all the construction activities at site, material approval, and shooting range construction control. Also I have prepared all the reports for the donor and helped the project manager in drafting the project and tenders budgets as well as controlling the contractor’s payments. I was responsible for one building in the project as well -PTF learning center (building F12)-.   Beit-Leid Police Station (BLPS)The project consisted of constructing and furnishing a new police station facility in Beit-Leid village to accommodate 36 Police officers.At design stage I have coordinated the design process which was done by UNOPS in-house design team and an external structural designer, I have prepared the tender documents for the project and the project construction and procurement plans.At construction phase I have managed in close coordination with the project manager the structural and finishing phases while supervising UNOPS and contractor site engineers.This project was awarded the ISO 14001 for environmental management system, in which I have done a central role in achieving this certification.   Senior project manager

  Acting as senior project manager in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), I successfully handled various large and complex projects, such as the biggest infrastructure project implemented by UNDP office in Jerusalem UNDP/PAPP, the Hebron Courthouse, with a total budget of approximately USD 26 million. Starting from 2022 I was tasked with creating the full project proposal for another complex and multidisciplinary project which is funded by INL: the Central Training Institute in Jericho, with a total budget of USD 16 million.In addition to these significant projects, I served as Chief Engineer, overseeing a variety of smaller projects including new construction and rehabilitation projects for public buildings and facilities.Directed the design, digging, and rehabilitation works for two deep wells projects in the West Bank.My role involved contract management and procurement oversight across numerous construction and supply contracts.I am leading a team of six engineers, ensuring successful completion of various projects, and managing the relationship with local and international stakeholders, including other UN agencies, in addition to the relationship with various UNDP/PAPP donors.
