As a senior counselor, I was a mentor and resource for the campers (~30 each) and counselors (~5 each) for 2-3 cabins, as well as for the range (archery and riflery) activities every week. I performed Tuesday Check-In's which "checked-in" with campers who were screened for potential homesickness or deeper troubles such as abuse, or simple uneasy/sick feelings. I was the first step in counselors asking for help with any problems. We lead nightly activities and worked to help senior staff and the directors as well. We were also in charge of documenting outstanding and troubling behaviors for the directing staff. Show less
