  In the second year of my studies I did a short, but very educational internship at the event team of the city of Antwerp. There I helped with the preparations and the opening day for 'Winter in Antwerp' and the local Christmas market. On the opening day there were 2 video mappings on iconic buildings of the city and a huge open-air concert by the choir Scala.

  To finish my graduation, I did a 6 months internship at Vivo Rio, one of the main concert halls in Rio de Janeiro. During this time we organized concerts from great Brazilian artists (Chico Buarque, Maria Bethânia, Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento, Anitta, among others) and international artists (Michael Bolton, The Kooks, Luis Fonsi, Halsey, Buena Vista Social Club,...). I also helped organizing corporate events for national and international companies.   Brussels Jazz Weekend

  Coordination Bru Jazz Brass, Brussels Jazz Alert, support Brussels Jazz Weekend

  Brussels Jazz Weekend is one of the biggest free jazz festivals in Europe, with over 300.000 people attending the festival every year. It traditionally takes place the last weekend of May. Since the 2019 edition I am responsible for the coordination of the project Bru Jazz Brass, a parade of brass and marching bands in Brussels. The project consists of local as well as international bands. In 2019 the bands of Bru Jazz Brass were opening the festivities at the European Parliament for the 2019 EU Elections. I was responsible for the production of the Balcony Edition of Brussels Jazz Weekend in 2021 during the pandemic, where we organized 19 concerts in all 19 districts of the city of Brussels the last weekend of May. For the new concept Brussels Jazz Alert I helped developing the concept and project, started managing the social media and organizing the production of the Brussels Jazz Alert sessions hosted by Lefto Early Bird. In team with my colleagues we decide which bands can participate and will be put in the spotlight. Show less

  At Muziekpublique I'm responsible for the Dutch and English communication and I'm assisting my colleagues of our label. I'm promoting our activities on our website, newsletter, social media, printed brochure, targeted promotion, offering support to our clients and public, contacting the press and the overall promotional strategy. For the label I'm helping to define the strategies for launching new singles and albums and I'm looking for new opportunities with a strong focus on online (playlists, advertising, content marketing strategies and campaigns). Our artists: Tamala, Las Lloronas, Refa (former Refugees for Refugees), Vardan Hovanissian & Emre Gültekin, Toasaves and Voxtra. Also production of events such as the Belgian World Music Meeting (for the Belgian World Music Network) and our Living Room Music festival & Hide And Seek Festival. Concerts from artists such as Ablaye Cissoko & Volker Goetze, Tanya Tagaq, Lankum, Dona Onete, Habib Koité, Hamilton de Holanda & Yamandu Costa, Ionica Minune and many more.   I'm managing Belgian bands Eléonor and MISST. I help building an developing my artist's careers, in Belgium and internationally. Both band will have album releases in 2021 and we made a strategical planning for these releases and the promotion. I manage the digital marketing and I am also the contact person for press and radio. Additionally I help them with the bookings and we look for innovative ways to promote the releases and to connect with their audience.
