May 2024 - Jun 2024Flight Mechanics and Controls InternAs part of the internship, I contributed to the design and implementation of a control system for the BO 105 helicopter using MATLAB/Simulink. The project aimed to enhance the helicopter's stability and maneuverability under various flight conditions. I was involved in modeling the helicopter's dynamics, factoring in its aerodynamic properties, and developing a simulation environment to test and refine control algorithms.The control system, designed using Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controllers and state-space techniques, focused on achieving precise handling and responsiveness. Through simulated flight scenarios, the system demonstrated significant improvements in stability and flight performance. Show less
