  Worked under the National Science Foundation grant, on Dark Matter Halos under the guidance of Dr. John Moustakas -Used Python coding to develop a phenomenological model to characterize how the stellar mass content and star formation efficiency varies as a function of dark matter halo mass. -Worked closely with other students and presented my work (as a contributed poster) at the 231st American Astronomical Society (AAS) Meeting in Washington DC in January 2018.

  Worked under the National Science Foundation grant, on Voids & Filaments under the guidance of Dr. Rose Finn - I download and operated VIDE: Void Identification and Examination toolkit- Once operational I started studying VIDE’s written code and the way it finds cosmic voids.- I tried to write down a similar python code to learn exactly how parts of the program operate and calculate a Voronoi tessellation to estimate the density field and perform a watershed transform to construct voids- Gained experience working in Siena’s new Observatory.
