  While completing an internship at ECFY Optometry, I learned a great deal about how a private medical office operates. Majority of my responsibilities involved shadowing the doctors and staff in their daily tasks; along with assisting on small tasks. These tasks included: telephone etiquettes, verifying prescriptions and orders, filing, scanning, scheduling appointments, and learning minor diagnostic testing.
