  Projects• SKU Rationalization Increasing the number of SKUs helped the company grow and satisfy consumer demand, but it also led to higher storage costs and difficulties in identifying low-performing products. The SKU rationalization project aimed to simplify product portfolios and reduce inventory costs, ensuring profitable business operations.• Unsaleable AnalysisUnderstanding the reasons for product returns is crucial for improving production and logistics processes. Higher return rates may indicate issues like design and production flaws, component defects, or poor packaging. To address these issues, a project was undertaken to assess unsaleable goods by comparing their values against gross sales values. Criteria for non-selling goods included minimal sales over a long period with significant stock levels, or goods with an expiry period that had not sold and caused storage losses. The analysis led to the creation of a month-on-month report that was shared with regional managers across four regions, enabling them to track percentages over time. By identifying unsaleable goods and addressing underlying issues, led to reduction in costs associated with inventory, storage, and returns. Show less
