  During my internships at the Petroleos de Venezuela company, I exposed myself to the knowledge of professionals in the oil industry. I was in two processing plants which were the "Catalytic Cracking Plant" and the "Kerosene No. 1 Hydrotreating Plant".In the catalytic cracking plant, I was in charge of performing a reliability analysis on all the pumps in the plant, and later I did the same work for the compressors and furnaces. For this I made use of the following tools:-SAP software-Microsoft Office Suit-Reading and interpreting floor plansIn the second plant, I worked with a subdivision of the company that implements a system called SILCO (Corrosion Loop Inspection System), this system allows estimating the duration of each pipe, and roughly predicting the corrosion in the pipe through periodic measurements of the thickness of the pipe.   Project Engineer

  I worked as a project engineer, a position in which I carried out the following activities:-Preparation of workshop plans-3D renderings designs for proposals.-Preparation of analysis and selection of budgets.-Search for quotes and materials.-Supervisor of works, earthworks, works in penscattle-Preparation of weekly, departmental reports and technical reports of work carried out in theMIP complex (Matadero Industrial Paraguaná)-Development of preliminary projects, investment plans, work withmonthly performance indicators.-Work in the purchasing area, execution of the procurement process.To carry out these activities, I made use of the following tools:-Autodesk Inventor-Autodesk AutoCAD-Office suit-Prezi-SketchUp-SketchbookThanks to my participation and that of a great work team in 23 of the executed projects, the remodeling of the "Matadero Industrial Paraguaná" complex was achieved, an increase in production capacity from 250 cattle per day to 400 cattle per day, significantly improving the finished product conservation cellars and general improvements to the entire plant. While I was in the position, we were able to implement most of the capabilities of the ERP software EPICOR 9.0 in conjunction with CAD software, this with the end goal of increase the company response speed to new product request.
