  I have worked as a Police Constable for the South Yorkshire Police service since 2004. Roles include incident response, Riot Policing and covert proactive roles including working with intelligence and gang related cases. I have been accredited as an Advanced Car Driver, Taser Trained Officer, Public Support Unit Officer including advanced method of entry and PEACE model interview training. My varied roles and skills have helped me develop myself in dealing with a vast array of situations including dealing with grieving victims of crime, confrontational situations, demanding deadlines and highly confidential information.I have attended and given evidence in Civil, Magistrates and Crown court. I have taken the lead in operations from the application and swearing of search warrants through to effecting the search and managing the scene, offenders and exhibits. I have lead the investigations from initial intelligence gathering through to court appearance.In February 2015 I joined the High Tech Crime Unit within the South Yorkshire Police service where I work as a forensic examiner of mobile phones and tablets, computers and laptops and storage media.I perform evidence seizure, initial triage, data acquisition, examination and report writing. I also perform live RAM capture and triage of devices at scenes to safeguard and streamline the investigations.I can work independently on cases and part of a team on large scale operations.I have represented the department during strategy meetings managing overall expectations, giving advice on law and policy and briefing the search teams on their objectives and process in relation to digital exhibits and their correct handling.I have performed examinations into a variety of cases including Murder, Rape, Drug supply, Fraud, Cyber Crime, Indecent Child Images and Child Sexual Exploitation.I am a UKAS trained Auditor and am responsible for internal audits in preparation for the forthcoming ISO 17025 accreditation.
