  La Web Compagnie was set up in 2009 with the objective and ambition of creating and managing niche online businesses and spotting new opportunities in the market. To date La Web Compagnie has developed a variety of nautical and tourist websites, including a successful small boat rental company, iPhone applications and a niche professional service offer. As the first member of staff I was hired to set up a variety of businesses, I worked alone in a strategy, business start-up and development role for over 6 months, creating the vision and the foundations for business growth. To date I have grown the business to a permanent team of six, with plans for fast expansion. Responsible for the overall direction, business planning, new business development, online marketing and management of La Web Compagnies staff and varied businesses. I created a robust online marketing and SEO campaign and training programme for staff, which achieved impressive, measurable results.With overall management responsibility for the business, my role here was very challenging, creative, entrepreneurial and high pressured.
