  Directly manages a staff of full and part time employees. Leads the team in developing novel, entertaining and conservation focused programming experiences with the award winning Nature's Neighborhood children's zoo. Also, directly manages the education animal collection of over 150 accession numbers including all taxa groups. Manages union and non-union employees, budgets, grant funding, and evaluation of exhibits and programs. Other programs managed include stage performances (including free-flight), Snooze/overnights, train ride interpretation and Jr Zookeeper camps. Responsible for training paid staff and over 300 volunteers yearly. Show less
