  My work at the Paul Scherrer Institute helped to improve our understanding of complex aerosols in Zurich (urban site) by performing field experiments to monitor ambient aerosols chemical compositions. This work focused on the changes in particulate matter chemical compositions and their sources in comparison to 2008-09 measurements. This project was in collaboration with a great network of scientists from Switzerland (Swiss Federal Office for the Environment/BAFU). In addition to that I analyzed Arctic particulate matter filter samples in laboratory to quantify the sources of organic aerosols at 8 observatories covering the entire Arctic.I shared my expertise with both internal and external PhDs and Scientists.As a research scientist, I published my research work in peer-reviewed journals, engaged in the discussion with stakeholders. Show less My research involved planning, executing and analyzing air sampling measurements in Asian and European cities as well as in the PSI laboratories.
