The role meant that I was on the phone speaking to the trade and general public all day dealing with stock enquiries, both for hire and sale, goods in and out, credit control, petty cash claims, cold calling for sales rep.

  The role speaks for itself I was on the main reception looking after customers both in person and on the phone via switchboard. I enjoyed the role as everyday was different and offered the opportunity to meet new people.

  Sales Negotiator

  I started out with Page & Wells as a part time Sales Negotiator involved in all the day to day life an estate agency, viewings, sales progression etc. This role became full time in the opening of the Ashford office where my primary role was as a sales progresser but was also involved in making sure the admin side of the office ran smoothly.

  I started Contacta as a sales administrator, mainly dealing with quotations and order processing for many different sectors including, banks, retail and supermarkets. This role progressed into coordinating engineer fault calls and invoicing.

  One-to-One Co-ordinator

  A temporary position, this role involved coordinating the additional tuition of students in English and Maths as part of the one-to-one funding program. This was a government funded program which involved tracking a students attainments and liaising between students and tutors over timetabling.

  Education Coordinator

  My role at the IFA was to co-ordinate the registration of students from many different countries and in turn the several different exams that we offered. Along with the paperwork involved in ensuring the twice yearly level 3 and 4 qualifications ran smoothly including liaising with examiners, exam centres and students. I was also involved in integrating a new platform within our database in which to record student exams results and exemptions.

  After my manager moved into another office I decided that it was time that to step up and begin valuing and managing the office. With many years of experience with the process I found this to be a natural progression along with training my staff.During this time I have achieved Fellow membership of the NAEA by passing my Level 3 & Level 4 qualification in Residential Sales and become a member of ARLA by passing the Technical Award in Residential Letting & Management. Welcomed back to Page & Wells I resumed my role at sales negotiator. Involved in the day to day enquiries, bookings, sales progression and problem solving!

  I started at Leaksafe following redundancy from my previous role. I started with the company as a Project Administrator but as the company has grown with new recruits and turnover, my role has naturally progressed to overseeing the day to day operational side of the business. This includes quotations, customer service, marketing, accounts and new product development.
