  I tried out for and made the women's club soccer team during the first semester of my freshman year. As one of three freshmen who made the team, I was thrust into and excelled in the competitive environment fostered in practices and games. The team won the NIRSA 2021 Region 1 and National titles.I joined the team's THON committee during 2020. Throughout the last three seasons, I developed great relationships with my fellow THON chairs and our family, the Frys. During THON 2022, I served as the primary chair during THON weekend and took charge of scheduling shifts as well as making posters to support our dancers. Show less

  In The Game

  In The Game is the College of Communication's first and only student-produced sports show geared toward a nationwide audience. During the class, I produced a feature package for the first show and worked with the teacher to produce the entirety of the second show.

  After The Whistle Anchor and Reporter

  I hosted the Week 7 edition of After The Whistle, Penn State's premier high school football show. Following Friday's games, we break down games, plays and highlights around District 6. The reporting team selects a game and play of the week. As an anchor, I write scripts to read off the teleprompter during the live show and communicate with our reporting teams about specific plays and athletes mentioned during their game's segment.

  I call Penn State games on play-by-play and color commentary for CommRadio. Sports I've called include men's and women's soccer, women's basketball and baseball. I'm one of four hosts on Gridiron Girls, the first and only all-female football talkshow on CommRadio. We talk about all the latest news in the NFL and College games, make game and award picks while giving females empowerment to get involved in sports coverage within CommRadio. I produced elements for the show, including an introduction, bumps and commercials. In addition, I run the board and save our files on Adobe Audition as well as our Instagram account. I cover Penn State football as an insider and talkshow host. My responsibilities include attending weekly media availabilities for coaches and players as well as open practices, writing media and game stories as well as feature articles.
