  I was a radio presenter on various websites that included Freshhits and StanceFM. I have thorough working knowledge of Sam Broadcaster by Spacial, which I used to stream music across to the I.P of the website. I managed and organised a music chart show that took into consideration small bands that were only just making their debut to the music scene.

  Sound Engineer

  Whilst I was studying my A-Levels at Simon Balle School, I worked alongside the school’s music and drama departments when they needed help with sound. I worked with the Big Band for performances they had at multiple events including the Head Teacher’s conference for Hertfordshire. I was the lead sound engineer for performances of the musical Les Misérables that ran over the course for three days.

  I had the chance to work with local bands at the Cream Room. I worked with a four-piece girl band called ‘The Folk’ now known as the two-piece ‘Delora’ on their first single, ‘When It Rains’. I also had the chance to work with a band called ‘Three Day Weekend’ over a number of days in the studio. I assisted in setting up the recordings for the band and working alongside the lead sound engineer with the mixing stage.

  I acquired this work experience whilst I was in my second year at University. Whilst I was at Yellow Fish, I worked with the company’s database and the networks within the company. I worked with Mail Chimp and made sure that the database was all up to date. I also got the chance to sit in a studio session with a local singer/songwriter, who performed and recorded several of his tracks onto Pro Tools HD. I assisted in setting up the microphones and the mixing of the tracks.
