  As an experienced professional in the field of advocacy, I was tasked with handling all four advocacy campaigns for the organization aimed at making childhood cancer a child health priority in India. These campaigns aimed to raise awareness about childhood cancer and the importance of prioritizing it as a key public health issue in India.One of the campaigns I managed was India's largest signature campaign for childhood cancer. Through this initiative, we were able to collect 300,000 signatures - one for each child diagnosed with cancer somewhere in the world each year. This campaign aimed to raise awareness about the global impact of childhood cancer and to urge policymakers to take action to address this critical issue.In addition to managing the signature campaign, I also oversaw the planning and execution of the other three advocacy campaigns. This involved developing strategic plans, identifying key stakeholders and partners, organizing events and workshops, and leveraging social media and other digital channels to amplify our message and engage with our target audience.Through these campaigns, we were able to build a strong network of advocates and stakeholders who are committed to addressing the critical issue of childhood cancer in India. Our efforts have helped to raise awareness about the impact of childhood cancer on children and families, and to drive policy changes that prioritize the needs of children with cancer.Overall, my experience in managing advocacy campaigns for childhood cancer has given me valuable skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications. I am passionate about using my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact in the field of public health and advocacy, and look forward to continuing to contribute to this critical issue in the future.   As the leader of KidsCan...Konnect is a Teenage, Young, and Adult Childhood Cancer survivor group under CanKids...KidsCan, I am responsible for overseeing and mentoring chapter heads, making strategic annual plans and budgets, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The group operates through its 10 chapters across India and has over 1500 survivors as members, with this number growing day by day. It is a privilege to lead such a group and to be able to work closely with cancer survivors and their families to provide support, advocacy, and awareness.In my role as a leader, I ensure that each chapter is well-equipped with the resources they need to provide the best support and advocacy for cancer survivors. I work with each chapter head to identify their needs, provide guidance and support, and facilitate regular communication among the chapters. I also make sure that the chapters adhere to the mission and vision of KidsCan...Konnect, and that their activities align with the organization's goals and objectives.One of my key responsibilities is to make strategic annual plans for KidsCan...Konnect. I work with the chapters to identify their annual goals and objectives and then create a comprehensive plan and budget that aligns with those goals.Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also a vital part of my role. I work closely with other departments within CanKids...KidsCan, such as the research and advocacy teams, to ensure that our efforts are aligned and that we are working together to achieve our common goals. Overall, leading KKC has been a deeply rewarding experience. The opportunity to work closely with cancer survivors and their families, to provide support, advocacy, and awareness, and to contribute to the growth and success of this organization has been truly fulfilling.
