      This position involves overseeing the review and management of the College's curricular changes - both credit and noncredit curricula. Currently, the college processes approximately 400 credit and 200 noncredit curricular proposals on an annual basis. Overseeing the management of the college's credit and noncredit curricular approval processes is part of my role in addition to ensuring that adherence to the PA Department of Education and the US Department of Education regulations, as well as the accreditation standards outlined by Middle States Commission on Higher Education. I have an integral role in providing material used in the college's academic catalog and curricular-related webpages. Show less This position involved managing the College's credit curriculum approval process. HACC processes approximately 350 curricular proposals annually. This position not only involves working with faculty, chairs and deans but also with other operational offices that require information on curricular items. During this time, the College acquired a web-based curricular management software system, in which I led the implementation of it - working with IT, the vendor and academic affairs. This system went live in September of 2019 and has allowed the college to not miss a beat in processing curricular improvements during the COVID-19 pandemic. My position was re-evaluated after a college-wide reorganizations occurred resulting in the curricular management of the Workforce Development area was moved under my supervision in January of 2021. Show less During this time I assisted the Dean of the Workforce and Economic Development Division and then the Director, Curriculum Compliance performing numerous administrative assistant duties. I also managed the College's off-campus course offerings at numerous locations in the tri-country Harrisburg area. My work later involved assisting the Director, Curriculum Compliance on reviewing all the College's credit curricular submissions for approval, as well as working with the Registrar's Office on end-processing and record keeping. My position changed to Instructional Program Coordinator in July 2008 upon changes to the job and my graduate degree completion. Show less
