      This was paid internship position that I worked at for three consecutive field seasons. During the field season we traveled extensively to conduct environmental monitoring surveys by collecting, processing, and analyzing fish population data. This was accomplished using boat electrofishing surveys on large rivers throughout EPA region V. We applied both daytime and nighttime boat electrofishing protocols. I also helped conduct qualitative habitat surveys of riparian zones and assisted with macroinvertebrate sampling on the Ohio River. Show less
