Also designed and presented using advanced architectural walkthrough techniques during participation in international competitions of including commercial and residential projects.

  • Project management: Coordinated the design endeavor (pre-tendering phase) of 20+ floors residential buildings with an equivalent total value of CAN 100 million Dollars. 3 in the United Arab Emirates and 2 in Iraq, from 2007 – 2012. 40% of units were sold by the real estate owners and agents prior to the commencement of construction. Also managed 5 housing developments including 55 commercial housing units each with 5 – 6 bedrooms. Managed both pre-tendering and construction phases at a total value of CAN 40 million Dollars.• Marketing - Event Planning: Planned two marketing events for the Cityscape Real Estate Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE for the company as well as representing it in 2009. This event contributed to expand the company’s network and actually became a member in a joint venture consortium for urban design and development.• Coordination: Performed business correspondence and client representation, through coordination with business partners and outsourcing specific design tasks of different disciplines. As well as coordination with team in construction sites and contractors. Also participated in a social and land use survey for a neighborhood in Sert province, Libya. • HR - Recruitment: Performed skills identification, mentoring and training. Recruited site engineers for 3 multi-story buildings in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Selection was according to the client’s priorities such as similar previous experience with buildings over 20 floors high, as well as the availability of recognized certificates and academic diplomas. Also recruited engineers for 2 multi-story buildings in Baghdad, Iraq in 2015. Show less • Coordination: Prepared the consultation survey report for a rehabilitation project of 177 residential buildings. For the purpose of accommodating military trainees. The report of 1400 pages included current statistics, drawings, future recommendation and budgeting information. Also participated in a social and land use survey for 3 neighborhoods in Najaf and Karbala provinces, Iraq. • HR – Skills development: provided technical in-house training programs for engineering specialties, as well as evaluating the readiness of fresh graduate interns. In-house courses, skills evaluation and hands-on training.• Marketing - Client Service / Direct sales: Performed reproduction and scanning for wide format blueprints.
