Key Achievements:Strategy - Led Asia Treasury strategy of improving and aligning processes, reporting and system infrastructure with Westpac Group. This would assist Group in meeting its objective of increasing Trade, Capital and People flow between the Australia/Asia corridor.Revenue - Introduce transfer pricing and risk management structure that would allow Treasury Asia to increase its revenue from $USD 5m in 2011 to $USD 22m in 2016.Business Growth - I established local Treasury teams in Hong Kong and Mumbai to support balance sheet needs and customer strategy in those centres. I arranged cross border funding agreements with peer banks in Asia to meet funding needs in our China branches.Leadership - I built a stable and high performing team in the region with a split focus on Funding & Liquidity and balance sheet risk management. Deposit frameworks were also introduced to achieve diversified funding portfolios in the region. I sponsored a project which introduced Hedge Accounting and split banking/trading book structures in the Singapore Hub branch. I also managed 1 staff in Westpac New Zealand and had 2 direct reports in Singapore.
