  I performed cutting-edge research in the field of nanotechnologies as a theoretical physicist, in particular concerning quantum transport in nanowires, quantum computing with superconducting qubits (the effects of noise and geometric phases) and superconducting cavities. The research was funded mainly by the 7th Frame Program of EU and was done in close collaboration with experimental groups of important research institutes around Europe (ETH Zurich, AALTO University Helsinki).

  Working as an I.T. consultant, I deliver solutions comprising a wide range of open-source information technologies: Java SE platform, Clojure, Javascript, Node.Js, Clojurescript, C, Go and Bash, as programming languages; Unix, Docker CE, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services as infrastructures; Reagent, Re-frame and Re-natal (React.Js and React Native wrapper for Clojurescript) and Bootstrap (among many others) as front-end libraries. I have implemented Continuous Integration solutions featuring Jenkins, and love developing with a TDD approach. I have a long experience with Postgres and OracleDB, designing my own schemas and developing triggers and stored procedures in pgsql and pl/sql, and had the opportunity to design a small custom ETL pipeline; I have worked with Cassandra and Storm.
