  Global China Connection Canterbuiry (GCC) is a student organization affiliated with the University of Canterbury. Our primary goal is to support Kiwi students in connecting with Chinese culture. We aim to bridge opportunities for students to expand their understanding and appreciation of China.Our flagship summer internship program, "Shanghai Shout," is fully funded by the PMSA scholarship. This initiative supports students in obtaining the incredible opportunity to work in Shanghai for two months, gaining invaluable international work experience and cultural exposure. Our previous internship host company parnter include Fonterra, Westland milk, Toursim New Zealand.2023 is the first year that GCC relaunch the Shanghai Shout, with a advanced goal to support Kiwi students to gain insights about how China's economy is getting economic rebooted on post-pandemic, and discover new opportunities in the Chinese market.The responsibilty for this role include:-Set out the overall project plan for relaunching the Shanghai Shout.-Connect and develop relationships with new host companies and discover new partnerships-Set out the overall marketing campaign plan and coordinate with the GCC marketing team.-Coordinate with multiple UC departments and external parties (e.g. China Consulate, New Zealand Consulate at Shanghai). to ensure the project success and achieving the goal.-Set out the rebranding strategy for GCC to shaping in 2024.
