As Programme Director, I had successfully increased the employability rates of our graduates by more than 15%. Full Time Employment was between 85% to 87%. Progression rates have also improved from 87% to 95%. I was involved in two accrediatations and was the main lead for the second accreditation. At the peak, student numbers were around 160 in the UofG Mechanical Design Engineering and Mechatronics programmes, which were in partnership with Singapore Institute of Technology. With the discontinuation of the UofG degree programmes and the setting up of joint degrees, student numbers increased by 36% from the first to second year and the total student numbers are expected to be around 360 at steady state. I led the administration team in re-developing administrative processes and standards as we transit from the UofG degrees to joint degrees with Singapore Institute of Technology. During the outbreak of COVID-19, I led the crisis management efforts and measures to ensure that online exams are successfully conducted. Regular communication with staff and students was also put in place to guide all staff and students in the transition to online lectures and exams. Show less
