During this contract post I conducted a systematic review of the influence of energy efficiency measures on the overheating risk of UK dwellings as part of a project for The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The work involved creating search protocols and advanced searching of research databases. I then filtered the identified papers using Mendeley reference manager and Covidence software, which enabled a transparent, and repeatable approach following the PRISMA protocol. I subsequently conducted an extensive synthesis of the relevant research papers utilising a Government approved framework to assess the quality of the research findings. The findings were disseminated through a report and presentation to key stakeholders. Show less
