      The program is held at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. I was immersed in law school culture by living on campus, taking classes with law school faculty and completing reading, writing and oral advocacy assignments similar to those given to first year law students. The program also features comprehensive Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) preparation, including live, in-person instruction and individualized online resources. Finally, in SPPARK I received professional development training, networked with attorneys and current law students and visited Northwest Arkansas attractions. Show less

      EICOP’s HBCU in LA is an innovative pipeline development program designed to provide access and opportunity to underrepresented students of color and help meet the industry’s diversity goal of employing a workforce that is reflective of the diverse communities it serves. The program focused on educating, developing, and training.I participated in virtual guest lectures, field trips, studio tours, screenings, and industry events designed to enhance and expand my knowledge of how Hollywood works. Lastly, my fellow interns and I were also tasked with the job of creating an original short film under the supervision of industry experts.Through the film project, I was exposed to aspects of the film-making process from pitching an original concept to marketing and screening the completed film to an audience.
