I joined Collins in July 2020 when we were recovering from the first wave of the pandemic. My role has been to drive operational improvements that are in line with Covid-19 restrictions. With all of our residents consigned to their homes and frequent legislative changes, the workload of the general manager increased considerably. Protocols were overhauled and policies needed to be updated frequently.Fortunately, we moved quickly and worked to re-open the facilities safely (tennis court, clubhouse, pools, gym, library and business centers). I led the introduction of a new booking system to allow residents a much needed opportunity to exercise.
