  Create, maintain and enhance digital and technical capabilities to help achieve Shorthorn objectives. These include microsites, digital and mobile applications, social media tools, searchable databases, mobile apps, interactive features, live streaming, and others.Train staff in other Shorthorn/Student Pubs areas to use technology, apps and products, in order to transfer ongoing use of these tools to staffs in those departments and integrate them into the ongoing Shorthorn/Student Pubs operation. In turn, this will enhance the learning experience for Shorthorn staff members.Provide support for The Shorthorn website and digital/mobile applications and initiatives, and for Student Publications and Shorthorn Alumni websites, in conjunction with University and third-party resources.Provide operational continuity and continued development for The Shorthorn website, mobile apps and other products.Maintain current knowledge on technologies used and potentially could be used for The Shorthorn.Recommend new products, features and ways to use technology based on solid research and an understanding of Shorthorn resources and goals/objectives.
