Piloted new programs on campus for students under the Fulbright Advising center. Collaborated with the Fulbright advisers to understand theories of advising and was able to shadow advising appointments. Coordinated with student leaders on the expectations of community events. Event management of 4 major service events throughout the year. Assisted the marketing team with planning and execution of campus and community wide marketing plan. Advised these two committees and groups of students on service and community engagement opportunities. Supervised student leaders and volunteers that worked with these committees as they executed major volunteer events. Working with other interns and graduate assistants on engaging student mentors to make new students accustomed to campus life and academia. Informed student mentors of changes and how to become adaptable to new information during the program. Coordinated with student mentors to smoothly register all students and make sure new students are ready to meet with advisors and campus personnel. Co-led a group of first year students on leadership ideals and qualities. Worked with new students to understand their potential and collaborate on projects to improve self understanding, group collaboration, and team success. Met once a week for eight sessions including meetings based on community, collaboration, connection, and controversy and civility.

  In this role, I advised the COE student ambassador program, supervised two full-time staff and 4 student workers, and managed our office budget. I developed campus partnerships that allowed our office to create new programming for our students and partner with offices to offer graduate and undergraduate interns. Work with Office of Student Services to plan student programs throughout the year so that students within the College of Education not only feel connected in the classroom, but also have a community within their college. Advise the Student Ambassador group on how to provide the best costumer service to the college. Supervise Recruitment and Visist Cordinator on undergrad and graduate recruitment efforts throughout the year. Work with Engineering students as they navigate decisions on their course schedules, questions regarding declaring majors within the field as well as assisting students become connected with resources on campus on learn about professional practice and co-educational activities.
