  Implementation of the productivity measuring and management system• Measuring norms and workforce optimization on production lines and facilities• Optimization of the production planning process in order to reach better efficiency (integration of the supply chain, production and maintenance)• Implementation of measuring and reporting VS norms• Identifying main problems, improving productivity in order to reduce costs per KG of the productsIn the first week of September 2013, after “initial scan” and analysis during August, within 5 workdays, productivity was increased by 25% VS period before. Show less Reconstruction, modernization and energy efficiency improvement project of the Neoplanta AD factory (35.000m2, 100 tons/day of final products like sausages cooked and fermented, ready meals and sterilized cans – pates) with the following goals:o Adjusting portfolio and capacities to future needs (marketing plan),o Optimization of the production processes, flows and equipment in order to reach higher efficiency,o Improvement of the energy efficiency through energy audit and identification of the actual projects that should be implemented (investment VS potential effects): Insulation of the cooling rooms in production and management building Steam boiler room, steam and condensate pipeline reconstruction Compressed air system reconstruction – new compressors and installation Cooling system reconstruction – new compressors and all supporting vessels and installationo Reaching food safety and quality requirements of the EU marketso Budget 13 milion €, start February 2012 deadline end of 2013Main activities on the project:• Defining Project Assignment with the involvement of all stakeholders• Making needed technical design documentation (technology project, other projects like civil, electrical, mechanical, etc...)• Making detailed schedule through stages of construction in order not to interrupt production process and avoid food safety hazards during execution of the works (2012 in August, during full scale reconstruction, production record of 1.300 tons was achieved)• Tendering process with the potential contractors and equipment suppliers, contracting• Coordination and management of all parties (team members internal and external) involved in order to get things done on time and budgetOne of the most significant achievements was the fact that the scale of production was doubled in 2014 VS 2010 with same energy cost.
