      My time at IGT Industries began as a school leaver, with a day release to Southampton City College on a YT Scheme. My many roles started with PCB assembly and ended in charge of a small team of test technicians. As this was a small company I was involved with a lot of aspects of the job including PCB testing and repair, final assembly testing and repair, fault finding, stores management, PCB Assembly, surface mount assembly, final assembly, machine operation and programming, packing and dispatch.       The basic role includes Implementation and customer specific configuration of company produced software, setting up windows based POS units, testing all equipment and the testing of the software after configuration. As a part of my role I also liaise with customers and other departments to ensure a solid and correct configuration is in place and all equipment is on site by the installation date.
