  In this position, I participated in various initiatives related to FAASTech & Analytics structuring, which is a division within FAAS focused on providing technology-based services to generate optimization to finance / accounting functions of EY clients. Examples of FAASTech & Analytics opportunities are process mining, the use of artificial intelligence for processing input invoices, blockchain-based applications for managing intercompany transactions, etc. In addition, I managed projects of accounting advisory in general (such as preparation of technical accounting memos), agreed-upon procedures, and technology applied to improve accounting/finance processes (e.g. software selection). Show less In the Financial Accounting Advisory Services department, I have been involved in: (1) accounting diagnosis projects that involve different techniques application to verify to which extent a company´s procedures are adherent to IFRSs and to the best accounting practices in force with the aim of providing findings and recommendations; (2) projects of technical accounting memos preparation; (3) projects of accounting policies preparation; (4) IFRS 16 - Leases implementation, which comprises since the mapping of the operations subjected to the standard under discussion up to their accounting recognition; and (5) ERPs software selection engagements.   I report to the LATAM Finance Director, and our team has the following responsibilities:- Accounting Operations: We manage local routines to adapt global processes, ensuring compliance with local requirements.- Financial Reporting: We oversee all local operations to deliver financial statements and fulfill financial secondary obligations, including the statutory audits.- Technical Accounting: We handle matters from an IFRS and local GAAP perspective.- Risk Management: We manage risks and controls from a local accounting standpoint.- Finance Transformation: We develop smarter and more scalable methods to provide increasingly better information to our stakeholders.- Business Support and Advisory: We support other departments by offering insights from a finance and controllership perspective during broader discussions about new systems, new businesses, and more.Over the years, I have worked across various scopes within these responsibilities, gaining experience with all the LATAM countries where Netflix operates, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia.
