  In my current capacity I lead business process development, re-engineering and optimisation in order to achieve standardisation across all operational entities, as well as rolling out enabling systems to support business improvement initiatives cross-functionally. I ensure that Group systems are aligned with Operations business process and functional requirements by applying ICT solutions to support processes to prioritize demand, reduce complexity and improve decision-making. The role also encompasses benchmarking the effectiveness of Operations systems, technology and OEMS communication processes against national and international best practice, as well as managing the knowledge transfer of best practice. I also fulfill the position of Business Process and Data Owner for Manage Quality.Since taking up post, I have been able to implement SAP training modules for maintenance, production and quality management across three SAP instances within 18 months, and I continue to oversee SAP data standards, governance and management. I also established an Operations Support Systems Enablement team to develop enablement applications through integrated use of K2 workflow, OsiSOFT, Asset Framework and Power BI. Show less Recognised as the corporate subject-matter expert for quality management, I was pleased to have contributed to superior product quality and “Exceptional” performance ratings for the business over nine consecutive years, as well as a laboratory safety record of more than ten years RCR-free. Following a restructure, I consolidated and standardised business systems, units and corporate QM systems resulting in ISO9001 re-certification within one year, as well as overseeing the delivery of various new business projects and optimisation programmes delivering both savings and achieving major contracts. Operationally, I directed all strategic and operational aspects of a QM service for polymer and chlorine laboratories, and more broadly I ensured the development of internal capability through developing a people strategy to ensure an appropriately skilled workforce configuration, incorporating succession planning, talent management and retention. A key element of the role was also to manage relationships across internal business units and external organisations including product technical support centres, technology licensors, customers, external service providers and government and accreditation bodies.
