  Mokum (part of PricewaterhouseCoopers) was a leading consultancy in Europe specialising in Oracle applications implementation, managed services and related software.During my seven years working for Mokum I saw it grow in terms of number of employees by around 500% with my role evolving to support the rapidly growing marketing needs of the company.My role involved managing strategic partnerships, event management, conducting and analysing marketing campaigns in a variety of digital and print media, bid management, market research, PR, and managing corporate communications amongst other marketing-related activity.I also project managed a complete rebranding project of the company which included the creation, and subsequent internal and external communication, of a new visual and corporate identity.Secondary to this role I was also the key systems administrator for the company's SalesForce.com CRM system and, as such, was responsible for making functional and technical changes to the system and managing the business analytics output.   The University of Kent is a top UK university with a strong reputation for research and over 21K students. Often described as the UK's European university, it has campuses in Canterbury, Medway, Tonbridge, Paris, Brussels, Athens and Rome. Based in the central Recruitment and Marketing Unit, I worked as part of a team of three marketing professionals, each aligned to a university faculty. I had the responsibility for working closely with academic schools within the Faculty of Humanities, as well as working collaboratively with colleagues in the Graduate School, International Development and professional service departments. In addition, I also had the responsibility of developing, coordinating and evaluating appropriate, well targeted campaigns in order to support the University's overall recruitment and conversion strategy for European students. I managed and executed marketing campaigns via multiple channels and ensured they were delivered within budget, on time and achieve agreed KPI's. As one would expect, recruitment marketing involves using innovative promotional practices in response to changing patterns of student behaviour and demand for courses and making the best use of digital media and communication tools.
