  Over the course of three months, I worked with the Leasing and Management/Sales Promotion divisions, as well as the Osaka head office. At the Leasing Division, I learned about the Japanese leasing industry by attending meetings with clients and participating in the tenant planning business. I was also taught about current trends in the industry. At the Management/Sales Promotion Division, I participated in events and sales promotions at shopping centers, met with shop managers, and attended project meetings. I also assisted with the planning and execution of Daiwa Lease's yearly eco-cap mural project. Finally, at the Osaka head office, I observed operations at front line sites and learned about Japanese business customs and manners.All activities were conducted entirely in Japanese. Show less
