  AFL instructor at ALI and the Center of Arabic Studies Abroad, the then only specialized center in the Middle East in AFL and content-area Studies under the directorship of Professor El Saeed Badawy.I taught all skills and all language levels in addition to many content-based courses because of my academic background in political science and in Islamic history. I taught professor Carl Brown:) hisrory in MSA, I taught Professor Jane D. Mckualiffe ( editor of the Encyclopedia of the Qur'aan) interpretation of al Quraan, among several other professors , I taught professor Dilworth Parkinson Arabic Linguistics in Egyptian Colloquial Arabic. Most of these senior professors had joined then the CASA III programs at the Center of Arabic Studies Abroad at AUC.   Designing Arabic Language programs to non natives and heritage students as well as cultural activities around the country. At Hedayet Institute for Arabic Studies, we train the Arabic language instructors and those who are interested to join the field on the methods and techniques of Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language. In the past few years we trained the instructors of Al Azhar Arabic Language Institute for non natives, The German University in Cairo Arabic Unit, Dar al 'Ouloum and Cairo University graduates majoring in Arabic. Show less Hedayet Institute for Arabic Studies is an institute teaching Arabic and related cultural subjects to non-Natives. The team of teachers and lecturers are highly specialized in their areas and have well balanced Arabic and Western educational language training that make their classes professional and a lot of fun. Programs are either intensive with 20 hours contact class hours per week each semester or part time courses either in Modern Standard Arabic or Egyptian Arabic.
