      In this role I have developed resource planning models to track key metrics relating to pilot recruitment, attrition, training, qualifications, leave allocations, productivity, overtime spend and operational resilience. My key responsibility is to continually collect business resource requirements for pilots relating to various projects and commercial scenarios. Passing this information through the resource tools, I make recommendations on long term resourcing strategies to minimise cost, deliver on business objectives (including operational readiness), and ensure compliance with relevant industrial and regulatory instruments. I use MS Excel and PowerBI to transform and analyse data.Using resource models, I make recommendations on both short and long term resourcing strategies to minimise cost, deliver business priorities and outcomes, and ensure compliance with relevant industrial and regulatory instruments. To this end, I must work closely with stakeholders to exchange information, and compile reports and presentation decks that are distributed amongst senior management, including head of departments and the chief operating officer.I manage a team responsible for the processes and systems used to allocate leave for over 2,500 Jetstar Pilots and Cabin Crew.
