  I was reporting to the Production Manager and indirectly managing 50+ factory staff. I was involved in planning, scheduling and supervising production in the plant. I was responsible of the daily time-tracking and the efficiency calculations of operations in the factory. Thus helping the company identify bottlenecks in production and proposing solutions to improve the flow of material.I was also dealing with material handling and the root cause analysis of all production and maintenance problems that could arise in the plant.My biggest projects were to redesign the complete layout of the factory and investigating the potential success of new systems and their impact on efficiency and effectiveness of current operations.   *Project Engineering & EstimatingAs part of the Project Team, I work on tenders and assist the Project Managers in developing sale proposals to customers. I establish all technical information of projects and find the best alternative to be used by project teams. I ensure all aspects of projects comply with all the rules and regulations in vigor. At the end of project, I complete the projects data packs and I gather information in our technical library and maintain it in good order to be used for future projects.I also keep all documentations for project teams and technicians up-to-date. I organize all the tests to be done on pipe, fittings and valves and include it the project final hand-over document.I plan and schedule jobs for project teams and ensure they have relevant material and equipment on time.*Technical ProcurementI am responsible for liaising with suppliers regarding specifications and costs of components. I get quotations from various suppliers and try to find the best alternative between quality and costs of material and equipment to be used on projects. I place and expedite orders in a timely manner to have everything ready on time for project teams to work.I liaise with stores on receiving orders and with account department on paying suppliers on time and other related queries.*DraughtingI prepare drawings with detailed schematics to aid construction workers and equipment producers following a specific process enabling equality to all requests. I maintain a detailed register of all drawings made, because all relevant drawings must be easily retrieved when needed by technicians and engineers.I am responsible for producing accurate drawings of the project within budget and defined timelines by using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to store, print or directly program drawings into the automated systems.I help designer with P&IDs and PFD to be sent to clients for proposals thus saving time in the tendering process.   *Production SupervisionI am directly responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment, staff, and processes on the production floor. I oversee scheduling and routine production activities as well as acting as first-line troubleshooting should problems arise. I coordinate production processes to increase productivity and improve process controls while carefully keeping their attendance in check.*Quality ManagementI administrate all the relevant documentation to keep Quality Management System up to date with ISO9001. I make sure that all the production procedures and processes are aligned with this objective.I do inspections on finished products and each workstations to support our standards. I do investigations on finding the root causes of defects and returns when they arise and propose solutions to correct the problems.*TechnicalI prepare drawings of parts for Production on AutoCAD. I am also involved in programming and managing of all machinery used in the factory and I plan and schedule maintenance not to interfere with Production.*ERP & Logistical AdministrationI ensure that all the Production activities are correctly entered in our ERP system and Production are accurate and readily available for other departments. I also manage dispatch of finished products and deliveries from suppliers while communicating to local warehouses about deliveries.*Health and Safety ManagementI monitor health and safety risks and hazards in the factory and advise employees on how to minimize or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in Production. I ensure that our factory is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation.I am responsible for all safety inspections and train all factory staff on how to manage and improve the Health and Safety standards in Production.
