  I had to complete a final year project as part of my degree. In this particular project, I helped to design a temperature sensor with the use of embedded sensing channels for prosthetics. The results are promising and possibly a follow-up could be made from the findings.

  As the designer engineer of the group, I had to chooses an appropriate hand design that would fit the description. This was discussed with my team in order to narrow down the choices. I was then tasked to redesign and model the hand in 3D printing softwares such as Blender and Ultimaker. We've managed to successfully print out two sizes of hands for the recipient and had just sent it over to him.

  Social Worker

  Since returning to Malaysia, I have been helping my mom in several of her social projects across the country. In the beginning it was mainly about helping the homeless urban people in Kuala Lumpur, where children as young as babies are left unattended due to broken up families and social problems. Our key goal was to provide an avenue for these children to develop their motor skills and give them a chance of receiving an education. In the following months, we broaden our focus onto the indigenous tribes in rural parts of Malaysia. These tribes are situated in the northern region of the country, near Perak and these communities are often taken advantage of due to their lack of an education. From there, we have provided food packs to villages in Sg. Siput and several tribes in the Royal Belum State Park. Aside from that, we also provided pre-loved books and clothing which receive through donations made by people all over the capital. I helped to manage the logistics of the donations and ensure that the packages are received accordingly. This project is currently ongoing and we are planning to expand our reach to other forgotten communities across the nation.During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have managed to work together this the orang asli women to help provide face masks for the public. We've also managed to reach out to a few orang asli villages across Negeri Sembilan. Show less
