      In this newly defined role, I was responsible for the planning and delivery of campaigns with the aim of raising awareness of the charity, principally within South Wales but also throughout the UK, and securing donations through various fundraising initiatives. Successes while in this role included a feature on ITV regional evening news, securing a corporate partnership with the largest independent logistics and mail company in the UK and helping to double the charity’s social media following. A charity specialising in the support of ex-armed service personnel into meaningful employment. I was responsible for the establishment and co-ordination of communications channels, including social media accounts and website. Production of search engine optimised content and email marketing campaigns, and reports on performance. Upon completion of probation I was promoted.

      Promoted initially to co-ordinate the delivery of digital marketing campaigns, I increased the scope of this role taking responsibility for the digital customer journeys for Personal Insurance and Personal Finances where I delivered wholesale enhancements to these digital propositions. Most notable was the implementation and optimisation of new hybrid, web form-to-telephone, quote and buy journeys for Car and Home Insurance. Since launch in May 2020 this new business channel has delivered over £1.3 million in revenue, and in 2021 accounted for 10% of total new business revenue. Notable delivery of other solutions in response to marketplace and customer need include:• Telephone quote and buy optimisation, increasing call-to-quote rate by 20 percentage points.• In response to the COVID lockdown switch of the call centre from in-bound to an entirely outbound sales function, providing the ability to write £127,424 of business.• Development of self-service journeys for Personal Finances customers, enabling nearly 479 non-transactional changes and over £2 million of payments into customers’ existing products.Metrics correct as of June 2022 Show less Reporting into the Digital Marketing Consultant I was responsible for supporting the delivery of digital elements of integrated marketing campaigns for Personal Insurance and Personal Finances.
